Doctor grateful to have journalist explain her job to her.




Science has proven that anecdotes and gut-feeling are so much more reliable than medical data. Said one Doctor: ‘I feel I wasted seven years at Medical School, when I could just have done one month at Journalism College and three weeks writing The Sun’s horoscope.


‘It was my fault, by focusing on facts and trying to explain things in a calm, methodical way. Thank goodness a TV presenter was on hand to speak loudly over the top of me. I never knew how easy it was to suck eggs, until they explained it to me’. The Presenter in questions said he was unavailable for comment. Ha, only joking, commenting is all they do.
