Ceramic boy with callipers, declared fit for work.




The Department for Work and Pensions have accused the charity box of siphoning off vital funds. The child-shaped statue was left unattended since 1970 outside a tobacconist in Battersea; which many passers-by had simply assumed it was a memorial to Janette Krankie. Looking like a mini-Roger Federer, standing on one leg, the boy has been told to file a disability claim or at least cut the DWP in on the scam.
