Don't we have a Significant Birthday coming up in September? Any plans? Sunday Lunch at the Olde Cheshire Cheese?

I think Ed had a birthday a few weeks ago, if that's who you mean
I've a "Significant Birthday" in October, but I'll be fucked if I'll celebrate that. At least I'll still be younger than Titus

Zzz ... [wakes up]
Wot? Oh.
Well, I'm up for a social gathering - in the Cheese again, or elsewhere. I'll ask my carers to put it in my diary.

I suggested a virtual xmas party 2 years ago. I pretended to get pissed then came on here looking for some action by the water-cooler and no one was here. I pretended to get dressed up too.

It'll be NewsBiscuits' 10th Birthday in September.

Is it really? Blimey, I might even write a sub.

Well if SW trains do their £15 return again I'd be up for it. Bastards charged me £53 for next Wednesday's jolly! (London Wine Trade Fair) Even at that London prices that's a few pints.

What's the collective noun for a gathering of Biscuiteers? A packet of Biscuits? A barrel of laughs?

A barrel of laughs?
Not that.Posted 4 years ago # -
Wogan used to use the phrase "Mad as a box of biscuits", so I guess he knew best

Didn't NB kick off in July 2006?

Could we have it at the Bird in Hand, Henley? That would be more convenient for me......

Nah. How about the Royal Oak, Much Marcle? No trains or buses, but a big car park.
Seriously: I would suggest somewhere easily accessible by tube, i.e., fairly central London. Or my local - the Three Elms.

Hi Golgo - I thought it was September - Ed, Ed, are you out there?

I wasn't around at the time, but JoF's septum donor card story is dated July 2006

However Malgor agrees it's September...
Maybe the site was launched with some back-dated stories to give it a bit of an archive when it went live.
