In what will prove a popular move the Soham murderer has agreed to settle his case against the prison service for much less than the hundred thousand pounds plus legal costs he was claiming. He will be given a great big bag of sleeping pills and a bit of privacy in a move which will save the tax payer millions of pounds over the next 40 or so years. A government spokesman said 'In these times of belt-tightening we need creative cost saving ideas. And this is a win-win all round'
Soham council have already announced more cost savings with a dual purpose grave/urinal for the monster.
