It seems this morning that the notorious, beloved, inspirational and nationally acclaimed BBC Radio 2 DJ is in talks with ITV.
The BBC have proved to be a fruitful hunting ground for top international talent. It is understood that Adam Crozier, CEO of ITV has actually appointed top london head hunting firm 'MacCrummack and Attire and Partners' to target and acquire the BBC's best talent. Thus far they have had a string of successes, the most notable being Adrian Giles who was swooped upon for a multi-million pound deal. Rumour has it that Jonathan Woss is also on route to the ITV.
Adam Crozier denies that they will have to start charging for ITV to cover the wages of these superstars and declined to comment on the fact that they don't have any radio stations...
