I'm off to Kent in the morning for a course where the BBC will teach me how to report on a riot.

Only this afternoon, live on air, I was reporting from a rundown area of Coventry and the glorious local scum decided it'd be fun to kick a football at my head while their local councillor was telling me how the kids in the area just need more focus in their lives.

At least the football was intermediate between boots n head.

I hope that's not your real name, if you're going to report on the race riots the BBC seem to be expecting this summer. They'll think you're taking the piss.

I checked and, sorry, no, it's not a new definition of irony. But it is a new example of irony. So, nearly right. It was a good gag the councillor came up with about that kid needing new lenses. He probably told him to aim for your groin. I hope your spectacles didn't jab you in the bridge of the nose and then fall off and smash on the pavement.
