Prime Minister David Cameron today confirmed that Whitehall would no longer be able to fund the estimate £20 Billion cost of new Trident nuclear submarine missile systems (which the government have committed to purchase even though we haven't used up the old ones yet). He confirmed that the cost would have to come entirely from the National Lottery, announced the launch of a new range of thermonuclear-themed scratch-cards to help fund the project and the new slogan for the campaign - "It could be U(235)"
etc. etc.
