The BBC today announced a new show, entitled "Jez'll Fix It", to beef up its autumn schedules.
The show, to be broadcast live at noon every Wednesday, will see its avuncular, grey-haired presenter "Jez" Corbyn read out a number of questions sent in by viewers to Prime Minister David Cameron.
A BBC spokesman was keen to stress that Mr Corbyn will have no personal contact with viewers who write in, following problems with a similar format in the 1970s. However, he was happy to report how popular the show had already become.
"Only the first week, and we've already had thousands of letters! Alright, it's only 17 if you leave out the ones who just want him to call Cameron a c*nt, but it's a start."
Those lucky viewers whose letters are selected to be read out will receive a badge reading "The slimy Etonian little turd listened to my concerns with barely concealed contempt before carrying on just as before".
