But there's the added twist of the pork pies and beer, which echo the chicken and lager that Gazza took to the Raoul Moat stand-off but are inappropriate gifts for Jews and Muslims.

[EDIT] When I first read it, I didn't see the significance of the pork pie and the beer. One-liners are funnier (for me) when the penny takes a couple of beats to drop. That's why I was lavish with the stars.
