Alarming reports are emerging that messages can be sent to your car radio remotely, whilst your car is in motion, using only the power of 'frequency modulation', a method of inducing a pressure wave in the air from many miles away.
It is quite possible that in the near future you could be innocently driving in your car listening to the usual static white noise from the in-car entertainment system, when someone up to 100 miles away who you've never met begins broadcasting their voice, their favourite songs or messages of dangerous radicalising dogma, which will become audible to all of the occupants of your car.
The attack is not even targeted at a specific car, but rather at all cars, houses and other receiving devices within the radius dictated by the power of the transmitter.
We are all constantly at risk of terrorist atrocities and must remain vigilant at all times. Luckily there is something that you can do to safeguard yourselves and your families :
In order to counter this threat, anyone who owns a car stereo or a home entertainment system is advised to immediately purchase a copy of Cliff Richard's greatest hits CD, and listen on repeat to the CD to prevent radio messages from getting through. If Cliff Richard's greatest hits CD is not available, then anything by Celine Dion or something equally bland and inoffensive will do.
Until you have the chance to make it to HMV or while waiting for the Amazon delivery, everyone should sing "Wired for Sound" (note : not "Devil Woman") at top volume to prevent anything sinister from entering your ears.
