Trust apologise over magazine mix-up
The National Gamete Donation Trust has aplogised to hundreds of sports fans who earlier today answered a plea for sperm donors to come and help infertile couples in their bid to conceive.
The Trust had attracted sports fans in Greater Manchester with themed posters such as 'Hard in the Tackle but Soft in the Heart' ....'Play Away and Make Someones Day' and also targeted local pet lovers with one poster which ran 'Give the Dog a Bone' (see below)
It appears the Trust had left what they assumed were 'erotic' magazines inside the cubicles set aside for those hot blooded male who needed some encouragement to 'knock one off' during the build up to donation.
But it seems there had been a photocopying mix up with an article featured in the January edition of National Geographic and the erotic leaflets were not quite what the fans had anticipated, although one middle aged sports fan from Stockport kept his mother waiting for over two hours while he made repeat donations to the trust.
United supporters expressed their regret at not being able to make the 400 mile round trip to take part in the experiment.
