The Press Complaints Commission reports that free in five or 35% of press articles are either littered with errors or are just blindly copied from Internet search engines.
Errors include spelling, past by spell checkers.
Sloppy cutting and paste ing from Internet sources.
The PCC is funded by the annual levy it charges newspapers and magazines, its current Chairman is Sir Christopher Meyer, who is due to stand down in April 2009.
