The Prime Minister today acknowledged that Hollywood had finally corrected the somewhat vague and misty area of British history in the period 1939 to December 1941.
For many years the widely held but unsubstaniated belief that the British Empire fought against the Axis powers as its major opponent had been taught as part of the national curriculum, however the truth can now be taught in British schools.
The PM cleared the air by agreeing that Britain played a minor part, usually a pompous, shifty, cowardly Army officer, who fails his dead beat defeatist platoon.
