Liam Fox elaborated today on the much anticipated Defence cuts.
"We've had to make some tough decisions" he said, standing on an aircraft carrier.
"And, well, we can't really justify the huge expense of defending the South coast from the French any more."
He did add that "we are protected from attack via the Channel tunnel, in that it's never working."
"And besides, these aircraft carriers are much more fun!" he shouted as he took off in a Typhoon, "Up, up and away (from the plebs)!"
