Emu - latterly one half of the famous 'Rod Hull and Emu' double-act, the scourge of chat show hosts everywhere - is back after fifteen years, now with new comedy partner Graham Storrington.
'Graham Storrington and Emu' will make initial appearances on Loose Women and Trisha, in a bid to work up towards the Graham Norton Show towards the end of next year.
'It's a common curse of the double-act' explains newcomer Graham 'that if one half dies or disappears from the circuit, the other partner is left with his or her career in tatters. Just look at poor Les Dennis.'
Emu declined to comment on his years in the celebrity wilderness, instead grabbing the microphone, then the reporter's notepad, before a struggling Storrington made an unsuccessful attempt to restrain him, leading to the reporter, Emu and Storrington ending up in an undignified scuffle on the floor.
