Just watched it. Brilliant, and at a guess you must have done the I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here sketch ;0)

Congratulations!

I accounted for about 0.0001% of the show; but of that, 100% of the funny was due to writing with you guys.

Is that a proof of homeopathy? Hurrah for Wrenfoe, btw.

Congrats!

In which case....will you be sharing 100% of your match fee?
Er...congrats too.
You've pretty much been carrying the FP over the past 18 months...so well deserved.Posted 5 years ago # -
Well done Wrenfoe, I didn't know someone from here had contributed but I laughed several times in the show.
It was pretty good as a kind of cost-effective Spitting Image; I was particularly impressed with Syrian Suspicious Parents, which was nicely dealing with a controversial subject. I'm not sure there's that much more to squeeze out of the Royal Family though. Milliband was possibly the funniest character and the I'm a Celebrity skit pretty good, especially the 'laboured pun' line. The puppets were good, though I wasn't a big fan of the CGI mouths, though perhaps I'm a luddite.
It must be pretty hard to make a satirical show these days when, unlike the Spitting Image days, there's topical humour just about everywhere you look.

TV Gratz, Wrenfoe.
Fair play to you.Posted 5 years ago # -
Did you see an ad looking for writers or just hear about the show and decided to have a punt?
Posted 5 years ago # -
Yay! Well done.
Posted 5 years ago # -
No he didn't answer an advert - the producers came to NewsBiscuit looking for new writers. Well done Wrenfoe!

Marvelous, simply marvelous! Well done!
(What are we talking about? I don't know what a Newzoid is...)

Newzoids is a cutting-edge remedy for piles. I'm their buttock model.

Well done, Wrenfoe. Now you're a millionaire (one can only presume prime time ITV pays well) how do you plan on spending your retirement?
Posted 5 years ago # -
bravo belatedly.
Hey, Perks.Posted 5 years ago # -
Money? You made funny for money?!!
Well done mate. Deserved. =]

Another late bout of congrats from one who caught the repeat last night, having missed it first time round.
If I was being critical, I'd say there were too many sketches based on TV programmes but that's just being picky really. Great 'puppets', good writing, excellent voices and generally very funny indeed. The Salmond/Sturgeon duet was my highlight but there were lots of other sketches that amused.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Damn. Now I've missed it twice. Is it on iplayer (whatever that is)

Loved the "like a Sturgeon" song clip tonight.
Almost felt sorry for Nigel too - 'you even have a foreign name' - brilliant.
