Elton John to rework "Candle in the Wind" to commemorate The People's Gunman

That's a brilliant idea.
"Vandal in the bin"
A friend of mine once wrote a very funny version about the Queen Mother, called 'Sandals in the bin'.
"Shotgun" doesn't rhyme with "Candle" and "Face" doesn't rhyme with "Wind", but that's the direction I'm thinking...
Must include Taser as well
And it seemed to me, that you lived your life, like a mysoginistic thug,
Never knowing how much you looked like Fungus the Bogeyman...
mmm, not easy.
I'm thinking NewsBiscuit's first charity single...
At least they gave you a good head start
I hope you've found your heaven
Where your eyes are far apart
You showed those filthy pigs
And you gave them a reet good chase
You had your blaze of glory
Though you didn't quite save face.
And it seems to me you lived your life
On a Manhunt from Sue Sim
it seemed to me you lived your life like a bouncer with bad wind?
Here comes gazza now
He's got you some chicken and some bread,
a coat, a dressing gown,
some gear to trawl the river bed,
Moat [To advancing copper]: What's that you're carrying? Chocolates?
Cop: No, small tasers!
What about another song:
I Second that e-Moat Stun
What about the old Police hit: Don't Stun So Close to Me
Here's a more Xmassy song:
Taser Season to be Jolly, tra la la la laarrrrr etc
The old Joe Dolce classic
Shoot-off ya face
Goodbye Mister Moat
Though I never knew you at all
You had the grace to top yourself
While those around you gawped
They crawled around the roadside
As Gazza wept on the radio
They kept you out in the rain
Until you re-arranged your brain
bpr, that is sheer genius. 5 honorary stars!
I've just read some of these out to Mr B, and in time honoured tradition, he snorted tea out of his nose.
Goodbye Mr Moat
Although I never knew you at all
I’m rather pleased about that
Whilst those around you crawled
They crawled along the riverbank
Whilst you blew out your brains
And now I’ll have no dread
Of wearing Policeman fancy dress in Gateshead
Looks like we've got enough tunes for a musical...anyone got Ben Elton's number?
I thought you wanted a musical?
Yes, and funny.
