Fred Flintstone denies having 'a gay old time'.

offlineMemberFred claims that, although he was very close to his friend Barney Rubble, the relationship was purely platonic. He freely admits, “We occasionally had a dabba doo time, sometimes even a yabba dabba doo time, but we definitely never had a gay old time”.
Fred added, “Yes, we spent a lot of time together, bowling, playing pool and golf, all male dominated sports. And we both belonged to the Loyal Order of Water Buffalos, a male only fraternity. But that’s where it stopped”.
He went on, “Of course we were a ‘modern stone age family’, but we had very old fashioned values. We have children, admittedly only one each, but our wives are babes”.
Many people point to the fact that Fred once took ballet lessons. He claims this was purely to improve his ten pin bowling. However, this did earn him the nick name ‘twinkletoes’, and that has stuck with him ever since.
