Militant independence supporters have made good on the threatening graffiti at polling stations that "No voters will be shot". The entire polling day passed peacefully and no voters were shot. No more soon.

Yeah. And not even any polling stations burnt down, ballot boxes mysteriously "going missing" or being stuffed with thousands of photocopied fake ballot papers. Just a few allegations of minor voting fraud. Boring.
Many other nations were seriously unimpressed.
The Scots should have hired Mr Mugabe to act as a consultant on how to hold a real, exciting, action-packed poll. This one was rubbish - we even had to wait until the votes were counted before we knew the result.
