And not only that, world leaders are promising that if Russia does invade and take over Ukraine, they will issue some stern words about it as soon as they're back from their summer break.
Have you noticed though how war doesn't seem to make money anymore? In the old days you could send you troops out to get killed conquering a country and then rape and murder the inhabitants and take all the mineral wealth, but now you have to worry about public opinion, the world wide web, foreign journalists, retaining support from your own people, the cost of the invasion, United Nations etc etc.
I reckon he wishes he never started it really.
