Cheers, guys. I had another one (but it didn't get very far):
Minister apologises for late arrival of high-speed train announcement
Lord Adonis apologised in the House that an announcement about a high-speed rail link between London and Birmingham had been unavoidably delayed. The announcement should have been delivered months ago but was held up by ‘the wrong sort of spittle on my epiglottis,’ he said. The Minister finally made the announcement this week, to calls of ‘Slow down, slow down’ from other members of the House.

[Oh, a bit more. Bugger, just missed the 6-hour edit window.]
...The general response from commuters was ‘Sorry, mate, didn’t catch a word of it.’
Transport announcement analyst Greg Bootleg described the proposals as ‘wholly unfeasible’. ‘I played the tape at half-speed,’ he explained, ‘and could distinctly hear the Minister say the rail-link couldn’t start in London until 2011 but would still reach Leeds by 2017. Don’t be ridiculous! Who wants to go to Leeds at that time of the evening?’

Have a five, Mr Gor, if only for the capital B in Bugger!
