Bernie Eclestone has risked the wrath of the Formula 1 faithful by proposing a fast food chain restaurant be built on the circuit at the home of British motor racing.
Ecclestone insists that it's all part of the globalisation formula to keep in touch with future trends and maximise revenue. He dismissed claims that it will slow the sport down and said "some of these burgers are ready made to go; with the right organisation we could be looking at 7 second stops."
Health charities warned against the move, suggesting that it will lead to an increase in obesity and heart disease amongst Formula 1 drivers.
