REDKNAPP PILGRIMAGE BEARS FRUIT
Harry Redknapp, returning from the World Cup in South Africa, made a pilgrimage to Israel, and has signed the exciting young Israeli striker Morrie Bund to play alongside Peter Crouch next season. Bund, who plays for Jaffa in the Israeli Premier League, is excited at the prospect of playing for his childhood favourites.
“We had some sticking points over the fee negotiations” said Redknapp, “but they finally agreed on a settlement – 100 houses on the outskirts of Jerusalem.”
