Shane Warne was asked for his reaction to the Rolf Harris guilty verdict and the forthright spinner pulled no punches.
"Alistair Cook has to go," said the frozen-faced Aussie. "Those last eight overs before tea last week was the worst captaincy I've seen in 150 years of watching cricket."
Asked if Rolf's reputation and legacy was now in tatters, Warne responded with his trademark venom.
"Cook lost 5-0 in the Ashes and is losing in all forms of the game. He needs to resign, or step back or have a complete break."
When pushed for a final word on the Rolf Harris verdict, Warney said it was a tragedy for English cricket.
"Cook needs to divorce his wife, forget cricket, give up farming and become a monk."
