Her Majesty the Queen has been detained by police for questioning regarding her 'influence' over a succession of British Prime Ministers dating right back to Churchill. It is thought that she has been entertaining prime ministers in weekly meetings at her state-funded residence for the last sixty years, asking 'searching questions' or seeking to impose her views upon them. In many of these meetings she may have plied impressionable prime ministers with 'refreshments'.
In addition she has hosted 'garden parties' at public expense for the rich and powerful including government ministers, and has for many years been awarding 'honours' to grant favour upon those who do her bidding. Some have suggested that she allowed exclusive rights to the use of her title in 'Her Majesty's Government'. There is no obvious paper trail to account for the money changing hands over the naming rights, so there is a supposition that some back-handed deal must be involved.
Police raided the Queen's residence before 8am this morning to lead her majesty away in the back of an unmarked car. The Queen attempted to hide her face from the cameras to avoid publicity, by wearing a large pale green hat.
