Without wishing to wind Jeni up (heaven forfend) I think we ought to have a say.
The reason? If Scotland does decide to go it alone, then this will become a border we would need to defend in the ongoing war against tourism - sorry, terrorism.
And in all the jingoism we've been subjected to, hardly anybody seems to have given proper consideration to the fact that an independent Scotland will have to set up a complete national infrastructure – tax, national insurance, health service, transport etc. And included in this is national security.
Apart from the security aspects, this is going to cost a packet. Something the Yes campaign have not been keen to highlight.
I guess it's just the Scots being canny again - yes?
