Prince George has been photographed for the first time placing one foot in front of the other whilst remaining upright
in a feat being compared to the Moon landing's 'giant step for Mankind'.
'It is the first attempt by the prince to defy the forces of gravity,' said a Buckingham Palace spokeswoman, although observers have pointed out that the prince was supported by his mother.
Prince George's feat is regarded as unusual as royals are usually photographed moving am arm about in a wave- like motion before being photographed attempting independent locomotion.
Interest is now centred on photographs which appear to show Prince George moving his lips in front of a pot of geraniums although observers point out that he appears to being egged-on by the Prince of Wales.
