Followers of Allah and Almighty God were said to be ‘extremely excited’ by the news that the two Rock Gods were to reunite for two charity concerts at Wembley Stadium in aid of homeless young carers with cancer. The concerts are to be broadcast online and via satellite, digital and prayer.
Speaking at a press conference to announce the events Almighty God tried to play down fans’ expectations saying “its a few millennia since We last performed so people should not expect miracles.”
Meanwhile Allah responded to concerns about possible crowd trouble by His followers “Sure they get carried away at times, scream, shout, fly planes into skyscrapers but their hearts are in the right place. This is Our way of giving something back to them.”
Organisers predict the concerts will be the biggest events in London since Led Zeppelin’s reunion, and were ‘definite deities for your diaries’. However rumours that One Direction were to be the main support proved unfounded, although Cliff Richard and Cat Stevens have expressed interest.
