A Windsor dry cleaner would neither confirm or deny it has been asked to clean a Nazi officer’s uniform by a red headed man who refused to give his name. But a source close to the dry cleaner observed that a well-spoken ginger-haired man came into the cleaner’s premises carrying the uniform and a biography of Edward VIII.
The source told us ‘I couldn’t hear exactly what was being said, but it was something like ‘I think people’s attitudes are going to change. Most people will be more relaxed about this kind of thing. I’m nipping next door to the hardware store for some old fashioned metal polish for the deaths heads and Swastikas. Then tomorrow night we’ll chuck a brick through the window of a Kosher butcher - if we can find one in Windsor. Just for a laugh!’
The Dry cleaner has denied taking DNA material from the uniform trousers to sell to the tabloids. 'We just gave the redheaded bloke a pink ticket and said come back Tuesday' said a source.
