Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has accused Chelsea of not letting his team beat them in the crucial Premier League match at Anfield on Sunday. Rodgers told assembled media after the game ‘it’s just not right, why can’t they come here and let us beat them so that we can win the league, every other team seems to manage it ok, I don’t know what Jose is thinking, it’s ok for Chelsea they’ve won the title loads recently but we are trying to win the league for the first time in almost 25 years and this kind of faultless defensive football and clinical counter-attacking really doesn’t help us at all.’ Rodgers was also unhappy with the Chelsea player’s behaviour during the game ‘I have a lot of respect for Jose but his team were bang out of order today with their time-wasting and scoring goals. As for Man City winning 2-0 at Palace, don’t get me started on them’.

As a Liverpool fan, this made me laugh. Chelsea apparently parked two buses in defence and managed to score two goals - wtf?
Suarez wins Player of the Year (which was deserved) and yet has a shocker against Chelsea.
I suspect Evertonians will have been cheering on Chelsea so as to drown their sorrows as they got beaten by the mighty Saints.
Liverpool win against Crystal Palace and Newcastle and they win the league.
Oh well AReader…you'll just have to 'go again' if you lose out this season
That's what I think every time Suarez plays. "WFT - Who shot him this time?" - as he falls with a face that would make a Hollywood war film actor look amateur.
AReader I feel your pain, I'm not so sure you will win the league even if you win the last 2 games as I suspect City will do what they need to do, but hope I'm wrong, squeaky bum time as they say
