But today's ticker practically begged me, so I'm jumping on the 'I wrote a book' bandwagon as well. My eighth novel, Assassin, is published on the 1st May and is available for pre-order on Apple iBooks and Barnes & Noble for those discerning Nook owners out there (search for Ray Sullivan). It should be available on Kobo for pre-order too, but they're going through a meltdown assimilating the Sony eBook store inventory, so hey ho. Also available on Amazon in eBook and paperback on or around the 1st - they're not so supportive of struggling writers with pre-order opportunities unfortunately. Not comedic - so in line with my subs (thought I ought to get that in first) but there are a couple of comedic novels in the canon if that's your bag. Price is reasonable less than a quid for Ebook version, expecting paperback to come in at around £6 - I've tried milking it in the past and now have to hold down a full time job as a result. Advert over, you can turn the sound back up now.
I wasn't going to do this....

Well done I hope it sells well. I haven't got a tablet or eBook so I will have to keep a look out in the local charity shops in about a years time.
8 novels is quite an achievement. I'll keep an eye out for it
Surely only the first one was truly novel?
I never said they were true!
(I always feel there should be an extra NB shop page for all the books written by NB writers)
What, like the one selling stuff you can get on Amazon cheaper and proclaiming the adjacency of Christmas? I appreciate it's nearly five o'clock somewhere (damn these Metronidazole tablets - I've a liver to destroy) but is it true to suggest that it's nearly Christmas somewhere? Perhaps the shop page gets refreshed just after the tickers get replaced, which would explain the four month delay.
Great idea Wrenfoe. Can I suggest a sub-site called something like Biscuit Books? Can anyone make this happen? I have a little short story in Lindy Moone's charity Troll anthology due out this year. It would be nice to see it sell.
Hasn't JOF written a book or two?
I've wondered about this, too.
There are 2 categories that relate to NB contributors:
1) For books, etc that are for sale
2) A collation of off-site musings (eg, Wrenfoe, throngsman, Mary, Lindy, etc)
I think it helps the cause of aiding new writers. What does the wonderfully Nice Admin Lady think, perhaps after consulting with our Glorious Leader ?
Maybe links to sites etc?
