I demand a doff!
This is the fifth one-liner you've posted about Moyes, and they've all been, for want of a better word, shit.
Three of them essentially made the same point in different words. Why not take a bit of time, think of what you're trying to say, and then come up with the best idea you can, rather than just posting whatever comes into your head?
"This is the fifth one-liner you've posted about Moyes, and they've all been ... shit."
Never mind that. Are you going to give me any stars or not?
No I’m not. I’m trying to offer you some constructive criticism instead, which should be much more use to you than some stars, if you bothered to listen.
Sorry, what was that again?
Spartacus is dead on - self control before you hit Post - is it genuinely funny or just yet another 'thing' to clog up the board ? When you think about it for a second or two it will do you good, and if you truly don't know if it's funny or not - don't post.
Moyes rhyming with toys as the entire joke isn't really doing it.

Nobody is better qualified to give advice on what makes a good ticker than Mr charlie_shat.
You should listen to him, we need more advice of that calibre around here.
OK - you decide whether you are going to to award points or not, then we'll know whether or not we should post something.
That would be really helpful, since I have posted stuff in the past without much thought and which I did not expect to be popular, only for it to immediately recieve loads of stars and favourable comments, become a ticker almost straight away and then feature in the Top Ten. (OK not often I freely admit, but it has happened.)
On other occasions I have had a brilliantly funny idea, thought about it and worked on it carefully before posting - only for it to recieve no attention whatsover from anyone.
So: are you going to like my next submission and award it stars, or not? If not, I won't waste my time sqauandering my talent on an unappreciative audience.
Is your next post going to be about the search for missing passengers in the South Korean ferry disaster being put on hold while they hold a respectful silence over the sacking of David Moyes? If it is then I might give it stars. You could include the line:
“I was constantly after updates, clinging to the slightest of hopes that my loved ones could somehow have survived and refusing to give up. Then I heard that David Moyes had been sacked as Manchester United manager and I realised how self-involved I was being. Stuff like this really puts things into perspective.”
That would indeed be an excellent post, thank you - but I expect someone else will steal the idea and beat me to it.
Go for quantity then Titus. The large volume of no starred efforts have clearly proved that this works for you.
Best not to keep bumping this effort with "can we not clog up the board with loads of poor efforts" tit for tat though - it's a well trodden path in Chat over the years.
"Moyes rhyming with toys as the entire joke isn't really doing it."
I suppose I'll have to take responsibility for that. I threw a wad of 'oyes' words into the mix, knowing my version was shit (hoping something better would come about).
Titus got his ticker...
Cheers, camz. I'm happy to share the glory/blame/whatever.
What this proves is that
(1) quality will win through
(2) so will crap
