The head of Social Services confirmed today that the agency was pursuing a prosecution of Swiss National William Tell. 'We've had first hand accounts regarding his child neglect, culminating in him shooting an apple perched on his son's head,' said the officer. 'To be honest we've been in receipt of this information for some time and we have had comprehensive case notes dating back to the fourteenth century, but you know how it goes with workload. Anyway, following our review of open cases following the baby P case we realised that we hadn't acted as swiftly as we should have on this one.' Tell was surrounded by policemen armed with the latest issue crossbows earlier this afternoon and is expected to appear in court on Monday.

Lovely idea, could have a bit more polish, maybe drop the direct Baby P reference as it makes it a bit harder to keep smiling. Keep the 'workload' angle though. 4 from me.
It's taken them even longer to prosecute Abraham, although admittedly Isaac delayed quite a while before complaining to Social Services.
