The RMT were holding emergency talks today as a number of planned strikes dates no longer aligned with the remaining England Games.
A tearful Bob Crow made statement earlier “After weeks of careful planning a number of our strikes no longer align with major televised sporting events, we feel that we have let our members down. This is clearly the first of many attempts we are likely to see from the new government to break the unions. All I can do at this moment is make an impassioned pleas to Andy Murray to get to the final of Wimbledon while we investigate the option of re-scheduling future walkouts to align with England’s test match schedule”.
Andy Murray could not be reached for comment.
