After nearly two weeks, the Malaysian security services have claimed a breakthrough in the hunt for missing flight MH370. At approximately 5 o’clock this morning, following a raid on his Bradford Home, the popular magician Dynamo was arrested and transported to London to await extradition for questioning.
“It came to us last night.” Said Malaysian Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein in his daily statement. “Obviously a whole plane can’t just vanish, so the only option left was magic. I saw Mr. Dynamo on TV during a trip to the UK and the suddenness and mystery of MH370 leads us to deduce that the disappearance is down to him.”
Members of the magic community have been quick to leap to Dynamo’s defence, with the Magic Circle releasing a statement supporting their inner circle member. “Mr Frayne, or Dynamo, assured us that the vanishing of the Malaysian Airlines flight has nothing to do with him. He insists his powers are useless on items other than decks of cards, coins and watches belonging to attractive females he meets while out with a camera crew. The Magic Circle is certain this event is not down to a rogue member or other errant magician.”
While Dynamo awaits his flight to Malaysia, the investigation team in Kuala Lumpur are already pursuing other avenues of investigation, having placed a worldwide arrest warrant for Mr Emilio Largo, last seen in the Bahamas aboard his yacht the Disco Volante.
