CNN has moved quickly to replace catastrophically abysmal failure, Piers Morgan, with a new host for its nightly prime time chat show, and at a press conference last night introduced Morgan's successor as being Donald Trump's wig.
Larry Corchenko, head of chat at CNN told the press, "We've been lining this up for some months now. Mr Trump's wig is a natural choice. It's a modern American icon, and having focus-grouped the idea the feedback was that anything would be better than that 'Limey asshole'!
The top toupee refused to be drawn over how much its deal is worth, but media analysts are suggesting a five figure sum per show is not be out of the question.
Donald Trump released the following statement, "I, Ivanka and Don Jnr. are delighted that the TRUMPwig is getting its own TV show, as it was becoming increasingly clear to me that it was finding being perched on my head during my televised beauty pageants and The Apprentice just too limiting. It's got a helluva lot to give, and hey, I'm sure whatever the viewing figures turn out to be they'll be one heck of a lot better than what that dough-faced smug Brit guy managed."
