A man today expressed his disappointment at the attractiveness of former Harry Potter actress Emma Watson.
"Don't get me wrong; I was never physically attracted to her as Hermione Granger, though I predicted that she would soon blossom into a extremely attractive woman of legal age. That was 7 years ago."
"Today, though I acknowledge that she is above average in looks, I feel somewhat underwhelmed, as if the waiting had been for nothing. Definitely not a candidate for the 'Barrymore effect'. Also, in glossy fashion shoots, she still looks teenage - so what am I supposed to think?"
He does, however, remain a fan of Emma's movie appearances and follows her career closely, even if the effect is less that 'magic': "Emma was excellent in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and it's great to see her achieving success beyond the Potter franchise."
"I don't have any bitterness. Perhaps it's the high standards I've projected onto her - I can't help but feel partially responsible."
