Scores of retired gang members and nightclub bouncers are fleeing the country after the environment agency debates dredging rivers of flood hit areas.
One ex gang member who did not want to be named said “ They’re going to find all sorts of things down there. Dead bodies, stolen goods, weapons and all manner of incriminating evidence that might harm the defence of a lot of people.”
Detective Chief Superintendent Marcus Thomas said “We have noticed a number of persons who were known to be prominent gang members in the 60’s and 70’s have disappeared off the radar lately.”
The environment agency have not decided if the rivers will be dredged, but there is strong support from Tesco’s and other supermarkets who are keen to retrieve lost trolleys.
