Iain Duncan Smith is looking at a growing pile of unfinished laundry following the news that his cleaner has resigned. ''The shock disclosure of false qualifications from the University of Perugia and the Dunchurch College of Management was bringing disrepute to my business'', the cleaner told reporters. The cleaner said she was unable to continue in her current position. ‘It is not going to look good on my CV’’ she said ‘’Specially when I try and claim unemployment benefits. I know that such government departments are rigorous in their checks. I do not want to admit I am working for a fraud.’’
Government minister’s cleaner resigns after discovery of falsified CV.

just been reading chat room and alerted to Evening Harold. Sadly the Parker resignation story was done at 8 am this morning. so my variation looks like a sad variation.
Apologies to all who groaned. I am new to this...
I will resign from Writing Team forthwith, but colleagues tell me that it is expected that I shall return soon to front page politics.
See you all tomorrow
Don't worry about the EH, if you did it independently of them. No law that NB can't have a topical story because someone else has a variation.
Shows you're on the right satirical wavelength :0)
