In a dramatic escalation in the row over the 50p tax law, a spokesman for Benefit's Cheats has slammed rich people.
In a statement released today it says, "All these individuals who have decided to get an education and then compound this by getting a job and supporting themselves and their families are ruining for the rest of us. Rich People are a law unto themselves and they seem totally oblivious to how much it costs to sit at home all day and do nothing. Flat Screen TV's and Sky don't pay for themselves and even the price of Special Brew is on the up. It may seem harsh but until Rich People start to give all of their money away to the people who don't want to work then they will be as welcome as cancer."
When challenged about what should be done, the spokesmen said "There has to be a 100% tax band for anyone who wants to try and better themselves so that they can provide all Benefit's cheats with a much better standard of living."
Labour have thrown their support behind these controversial statements saying "We are happy to jump on any bandwagon that we can if it secures us more votes".
