As the NFL announced that Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers are to perform the half-time show of Super Bowl XLVIII, they also announced the change in broadcast. "Commercial advertising is a huge source of income for the league during this time of year," stated Roger Goodell, NFL Commissioner. "In an attempt to capitalize on the situation, only the fourth quarter of the game will air. This will us to maximize the amount of commercials shown in our narrow, five-hour broadcasting window." "It's about time the league focuses on what's truly important: Doritos commercials!" said one excited football fan.
