Egomaniac TalkSport radio pundit loudmouth Stan Collymore was today bombarded with thousands of death threats by Twitter trolls after saying his face should be on £50 notes instead of the Queen. This stance is said to be related to his support of ‘Republic’, a campaign group that campaigns for an elected UK head of state.
“At this moment in time these Twitter trolls are a flaming nuisance” insisted Stan the Man “I know it was alleged I punched Ulrika Jonsson in 1998 and threatened to kill my ex-wife and burn down her parents' house in 2007, but that’s a totally different kettle of fish to using words in a hurtful way on my Twitter account against me by people who don’t even know me.”
“Stan Collymore is an attention-seeking faded has-been/never was who can hand it out, but not take it.” said former topless model-turned best selling author Jordan (35), whose latest autobiography is out next week “I like being trolled on Twitter. Why not, it makes me laugh. I would like to see Stan’s face on the £50 note though, or better still, toilet rolls.”
