Michael Schumacher will need to display all of his tactical guile to ever get to theatre, after failing to secure a front of grid place at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital, according to surgical expert Brendan McGuire.
After clipping the wheel of another trolley during practice the German slipped back to 17th position and may not have qualified at all had it not been for the replacement of his drip in under 2 seconds following the 3rd lap of the carpark...

splendid idea with lots of FP potential.
Schumacher's team are reported to be outraged not to be awarded (ski) pole position after scoring so highly in qualification rounds. 'He should have been given a bye at the earlier rounds of triage given he is going Private'
Could maybe weave in a gag about pit-stop mishaps with his IV drip spraying everywhere.Posted 2 months ago #
I sense another communal effort, along the lines of the Nigella thread.
If he does make his way up the waiting list to 2nd, then we can confidently expect "team orders" to be invoked, gifting him the number 1 spot over Rubens Barrichello. Barrichello has been waiting 18 years for a pin to be removed from a once-broken ankle, and has been at the top of the waiting list six times before each time being cruelly relegated on the orders of Jean Todt.
Could his pit team be banned from visiting Schumacher after changing the wheels on his bed to slicks?
A few stars, more on offer.
The flag was due to fall to commence proceedings, but doctors and marshals were unable to find a flag which could be agreed by all sections of the community.
Not a good idea, in my opinion.
