Players from the Premiership’s top flight clubs say they would like seats installed on the pitch during Premiership matches.
A survey carried out by the PFA found most leading players would like a sit-down during a game to catch up on their blog, update their FaceBook status, tweet their girlfriends or watch TV.
Other players would like a break during games to change their gloves, contact their agent or buy another Porsche.
PFA Chief Executive told Newsbeat the players would be happy with a simple fold-away chair for league matches but would be looking at a Natuzzi leatherette recliner or Pinnafirina when playing in Europe.
Seats were removed from pitches following the 1888-89 season in an attempt to speed up the game and stop gentlemen players from writing in their diaries, reading their newspaper or sending telegrams to the Queen.
Taylor said Premiership players are role models for kids and sitting with your feet up watching TV when you should be working sends out a clear message to any youngster thinking of getting a job.
