May I start the flurry? I positively agree. Without negativity where would this site be?
It's not a good idea. I don't think people ought to post things like that.
My daughter has her Negativity play next week. We're hoping she won't be Mary.
Stars to Ironduke! Made I larf.
Allegedly true story: during an infant school nativity play [I initially mistyped that as 'naivity play' which I rather liked], Joseph asked if there was any room at the inn. For no accountable reason the innkeeper proudly announced "Yes, we've got plenty of room!" whereupon a quick-thinking Mary looked behind the curtain at the back of the stage and loudly declared "It's a tip! I'd rather stay in the stable!". Cue thunderous (and fully deserved) applause from the audience.
The innkeeper is undoubtedly the star of any Negativity Play.
Seriously, what sort of mean-arsed jobs worth turns away a massively pregnant woman to doss down in a stable? At least the NHS would have given her a comfy trolley in her own section of brightly lit corridor.
