In a sensational ruling today the UK's highest court of law has stated that the Church Of Biscuitology is indeed a bona fide religion, and that people can therefore get married on its premises.
However there was crushing disappointment for Belinda Williamson who was told that, despite this ruling, she could not marry a packet of biscuits.
"To marry a packet of biscuits would be quite a absurd" said Lord Justice Horace Parkinson. "It would obviously be illegal under the laws of this country, as would any other polygamous marriage. It would not be like marrying a single biscuit, which would of course be fine."
