Sounds strangely familiar ... wayland ?
House hit by meteor

I think Wayland posted a picture of his rocks. If they match then you've got a point.
Wayland lives in Cheshire, and his rock is not the same.
That's stuffed that then...
Nah, the rock wouldn't be the same, would it? It isn't the same rock, is it?
But it may be similar - chip off the same block, or mother ship. I think There Is Something Going On Which We Are Not Being Told About.
How do the dates of these rock landings compare? Would they give us any clues regarding the orbit of the people / ship / things launching these rocks at us?
And if they have the technology to travel here from a galaxy far, far away, how come they are just lobbing rocks at us instead of zapping us with ray guns or exterminating us with planet disintegrators? Are they just trying to soften us up, or are they trying to play Mr Nice Guy?
Wayland's Rock was a divine object
Waylands rock wasn't a meteorite. It has vescicles (gas bubbles to the uneducated), which rules it out as anything other than terrestrial in origin. Looks like a piece of furnace slag.
Aww, don't spoil the fun.
Or are you just a government stooge, putting out this false story about "vescicles" (a made-up word if ever I heard one) and nonsense about pieces of furnace slag, in a vain attempt to prevent public panic and chaos?
I suspect that the truth is that we are doomed.
I thought we had all agreed it was a space potato. http://howtomakeabakedpotato.com/865/fun-potato-facts/22784/potatoes-in-space.html
