As this is supposed to be a writers' forum, I'll ask: did anyone hear the interview with Mark Forsyth on the Radio Four Today programme this morning?
As someone who loves and rejoices in the English language I was so impressed that I immdeiately ordered a copy of his book and booked a ticket for a talk he will be giving locally.
"In an age unhealthily obsessed with substance, this is a book on the importance of pure style."
How can you fail to like someone who says "you don’t need to have anything to say – you simply need to say it well."
