The must-have Father’s Day present this year turned out to be a celebrity, according to the findings of a MORI poll, published yesterday.
Long-rumoured to be part of a clandestine cloning experiment thanks to her omnipresence, popstar-to-operastar shiny-haired babe Myleene Klass is selling a ‘have-a-go’ experience at £150 a time.
“Many dads are seriously jaded by the traditional Father’s Day gift – from the ‘World’s Best Dad’ mug, to socks, and even those ‘have a drive in a Lamborghini’ things,” comments PR professional and dad of two Geoffrey Canforth.
“But when my daughters brought in Myleene Klass wrapped in a shiny red bow on Sunday morning, I think they could tell my smile was completely genuine.”
“A b-lister’s brand can often be severely limited by the fact that they can only be in one place at the same time” according to celebrity blogger Jackie Chanel. “But now that Myleene has made herself available to millions her stock will undoubtably rise.”
Team Klass – in fact a roomful of clones - are now looking into giving away a cover-mounted miniature Myleene free with the September issue of OK! magazine.
