NSA admits Cameron "not important enough" to have his phone monitored

A good, witty take on the subject - have some stars.
And it does rather emphasise the point that (as common sense would suggest) of course the US intelligence services will listen in on any telepone calls made by any visiting foreign head-of-state, especially if the visitor is foolish enough to use an ordinary, commercial, non-encrypted telephone service. If you were a head-of-state visiting the US, would you use an unsecure 'phone for discussing crucial affairs of state if you wanted them to be kept confidential?
It would be more worrying if the US security services were not listening! I would have accused them of incompetence and irresponsibility if they had not.
The only mystery is why Angel Merkel is pretending to be surprised - I wonder what the political agenda is behind this pretence? Another mystery is why she wasn't using a secure phone anyway, if she didn't want to be listened to.
